Data locations

Data locations shows where this organisation’s data is stored or processed on this deployment.

The table

The page starts with the Hosting location, which shows Not declared until the deployment’s hosting location has been set. Below it, each location has:

• Location, with the system behind it, such as PostgreSQL or HashiCorp Vault.
• Region.
• What happens to data, such as stored or processed, and what is held there.
• When, such as always on, or only when enabled.
• This organisation, which shows whether the location applies to this organisation.

A location that is not enabled does not move the organisation’s data. Where a place is outside the published geography, the page says so.
